Christie A. Willett, Founder of Waggin Meals and WGM Pet Nutrition Co., is an Integrative Animal Nutritionist specializing in canine health and feeding behavior practices. Her mission: to transform pet wellness through science-based, personalized nutrition.
Christie holds a Master's in Animal Science (Nutrition) from the University of Tennessee and is currently pursuing her PhD. Her extensive research—focused on animal feed, obesity, stress, and gestation—has been published in the UK, reflecting the impact of whole food diets in conditions such as chronic and acute Renal and Liver disease. She continues to advance her expertise through ongoing education and international collaborations.
As an educator, Christie teaches animal nutrition nationally and internationally, with a focus on clinical diets, feeding behaviors, and strategies for pets with complex health needs. She consults one-on-one with pet owners and veterinary professionals, creating evidence-based meal plans that address conditions like liver disease, obesity, and digestive disorders.
Her journey began after a personal loss that sparked a passion for nutrition. What started in her kitchen grew into a nationwide brand delivering handcrafted, scientifically formulated-guided meals. Today, Waggin Meals partners with rescues, supports adoption agencies, and empowers pet owners with integrative solutions.

When she's not researching or teaching, Christie enjoys life with her husband Tres, their three pups—Jax, Lil' J, and Jasmine—and her granddaughter Jovi, lovingly called "Yaya's girl."
