How will my fresh food stay fresh during shipping?
All fresh meals ship in insulated containers with gel ice packs to maintain proper temperature. We use expedited FedEx Ground shipping to ensure products arrive within 1-6 days depending on your zone. Our packaging is tested to keep food cold for up to 48 hours.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes! We ship to all 50 US states including Alaska and Hawaii. Shipping costs vary based on your location and order weight. Orders $165+ qualify for FREE shipping.
What if I'm not home when my order arrives?
Our insulated packaging is designed to keep food fresh for several hours after delivery. However, we recommend refrigerating or freezing products as soon as possible after receiving your shipment. You can also request FedEx hold your package at a local location for pickup.
Can I track my order?
Absolutely! Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. You can track your package directly on FedEx.com or through the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email.
How is shipping calculated?
Shipping is calculated based on your delivery zone and total order weight. Each zone has a base rate plus a per-pound rate. For example, Zone 1 is $9.99 base + $0.50/lb. Orders $165+ qualify for FREE standard shipping. Exact shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
What's included in the $165 free shipping threshold?
The $165 threshold is based on your order subtotal (before tax and shipping). This typically equals 5-6 meal packs. Free shipping applies to standard FedEx Ground delivery only - expedited shipping options may have additional charges.
Do you offer local delivery?
Yes! If you're in the Asheville, NC area (including Weaverville, Black Mountain, and Fletcher), we offer FREE local delivery within 1-2 business days. We also offer FREE local pickup from our kitchen.
Can I schedule a specific delivery date?
We ship orders within 1-2 business days of receiving them. While we can't guarantee a specific delivery date due to carrier scheduling, you can request delivery preferences in your order notes, and we'll do our best to accommodate.
