Fetching something tail-waggingly good
Clean, limited ingredient nutrition to identify triggers and heal from the inside out
True Food Allergies: Immune system response causing itching, skin inflammation, ear infections, and sometimes digestive upset. Common allergens include beef, chicken, dairy, wheat, and eggs.
Food Sensitivities/Intolerances: Not an immune response, but still causes symptoms like diarrhea, gas, vomiting. Often triggered by ingredients the dog can't properly digest.
Both conditions respond well to fresh food with limited, high-quality ingredients. The key is identifying and removing trigger foods while providing complete nutrition.

Yes! Dogs can develop allergies to proteins they've eaten long-term. In fact, the most common allergens (beef, chicken, dairy) are proteins dogs have been exposed to repeatedly. This is why novel proteins work - the immune system hasn't developed a reaction to them.
Only if your dog is allergic to grains - which is actually less common than protein allergies. However, sweet potato and white rice are often better tolerated than wheat and corn. If grain allergies are suspected, our grain-free sweet potato meals are ideal.
If symptoms persist after a proper 8-week elimination diet, the issue may be environmental allergies, parasites, or other health conditions. Consult your veterinarian for allergy testing. In some cases, additional testing or medications may be needed alongside diet changes.
